or you could be a man and get all of those games on PS3 except for PD.

It's that very reasoning that lead me to prefer 360 over PS3. They all have the same games that I'd want, so I just go towards whoever gets something like Perfect Dark @ 60 frames per second with online multiplayer.

Plus everyone has a 360. Playing online might be free for PS3, but really, which console do you have more friends on?

lol I'm the one that owns it, and that's hardly a valid point, simply because I dont care about the zombie killing and such. :P

I've heard that Assassin's Creed 2 is quite good myself (Though I cannot speak from first hand experience). I've heard it described that it improves significantly on the first game, to the point that AC1 felt like the beta version dry-run ( ... )

I tried to play Assassin's Creed and the gameplay bored me half to death.

I do vote for L4D2, however. Hitman: Blood Money, Dead Rising.. Uhmm. I don't even know what genres you like.

I know you mentioned third person action games, but I'm just gonna play devil's advocate here...

Do yourself a favor and grab a copy of Bioshock. As an artist, I guarantee you that you'll find it impossible to put the game down. It's so beautifully designed, blows me away every time I pick it up.

Im playing Fallout 3 on PS3 right now and I would also really really recommend it.

I find Assassins Creed pretty boring, Batman too linear. Only being able to grapple onto the gargoyles pissed me off. Why are there gargoyles inside anyway? Force Unleashed is fun enough.
