Thank you for the happy ending! I'm delighted that they made their way back to one another. And the idea of a road trip to help in this was great, btw.
I have to say that Reid not feeling up to having kids again is very realistic. I think they need to figure out if they ever want to go down that path again. But even if they don't, they'll be all right. They'll never be over!
Oh, and they've got Smooch! They're a family. :)
Beautiful story from start to finish! So happy you were able to overcome the slight obstacles to complete this. It's a story that had to be written and I'm glad you wrote it for us all to enjoy.
All your comments made my day! I really felt the ending could not have Reid just do a 180 or have things be wrapped up too much...I wanted it to end on hope for the future but with no promises on exactly the path they would take...regardless, I wanted their love to shine through it all. I'm delighted you seemed to see it that way!!!
My goodness. That was great. Enough feelings, a little humor, drama and a conciliatory happy ending. I can feel in every written word the common support, the love, their bond. It was so lovely to see the way from despair to being a family again. Great. I bow down.
I wanted a fic where they were struggling, but they were not really broken (because neither wanted to truly give up on the other). I'm thrilled that you felt the love in every step.
What a great story, I didn`t see the tragedy with charlie comming and I have to say I`m glad I didn`t know because I dont know if I would have read your story, my best friend just lost here baby and it still feels really raw, so I have to compliment you on how you handeld the subject it was so real and totally understanding that they lost there way to eachother. I`m glad I did read this story it was beautifull from begin to end, thank you!!!
So sorry about your friend!! I am thrilled, though, that you thought I handled the subject right. It was important to me that the last chapter still honored Charlie and that the answers were not 100% easy or clear about the future. Thanks soooo much for reading!
AAAAAAMAZING!!! i bawled like a baby when reid hung the picture of charlie on the tree <3333 so sweet and unexpected and just lovely. i am so proud to have been involved with this big bang story!!!! <3
