In memoriam
For my aunt, Sister Regina of the Sisters of Saint Mary, who a few days ago. She was a woman of dedication and love. Although I certainly did not always agree with her, I certainly admired her dedication and the life she lived of service. A song in her memory, sung from the infinite to her:wishing
I'm not being very patient lately and seem to generally be unhappy and frustrated frequently for reasons I have trouble pointing at. Today, though, I can point at something. Today I got frustrated at my progress in exercise. I managed a whole four miles before I had to stop in the heat today . I'm out of the brace for the shoulder and mostly functioning normally now. Still getting some aches as I try to get strength back in the shoulder muscles. It is nice being able to do more vigorous exercise again. I ended up playing a lot of poker while I was in London, mostly the International, and almost entirely tournaments. Unfortunately, it was pretty frustrating. Most of the tournaments were 60-80 people and paid off nine places. And in 6 of them I finished in the top 20 and not in the money.
