With one noticeable difference: Overshadowing her feathered pair is a pair of forest-green wings of the glowing variety (much like those her brother had, back in Aselia). She's flying overhead from the direction of the mountains

[Stating the obvious, yes, but he's kind of boggled by it. He's never seen wings like that before.]

I-... [She glances back over her shoulder. Huh, they're still out. She concentrates a moment, and they flicker once, then disappear.]

Sometimes.

[ Some little boy's up just early enough to catch this and follow where the light is going from where he fell asleep in the forest.

The moment he gets to the fountain and notices it's her, he won't even say a word, running and practically tackling her. ]

[She'll see Cooro coming and open her arms just in time, wrapping him up in a massive hug with one hand stroking his hair. Poor Cooro must have been so lonely and scared...]

[ He starts crying loudly when he feels her arms, clinging to her. He has no idea what to do but that. He's missed her so much. ]

Oh Cooro, shhhhh... [More hair stroking, more tight one-armed hugging.]

Why hello there. Hmmm... haven't we met before... not flying?

[Yuan is... not near the fountain, actually. He's sitting out in the yard in front of his house, keeping a close eye on his surroundings. He's been waiting for Martel's return since Tuesday, because he knows it takes about a week for the deceased to return to Luceti.

He doesn't know when exactly she'll return, nor does he know where or how. Waiting outside his house was really the most logical action he could think of.]

[You'll spot her coming down the path. On the plus side, she looks physically unharmed, and she's alive of course. On the downside, her wings are still out (that's a downside because if she were completely together in the head, she'd have put them away by now so she wouldn't attract attention), and she looks very tired and even a little dazed.

She'll realize you're outside a bit slower than normal, but when she does, she'll stop (right around what would be considered 'your front yard'), offering a weary smile.]

[He senses her approaching even before she comes into sight. It's not hard to mistake that mana signature and the wings aren't exactly doing anything to hide her presence. As she approaches, his eyebrows contract into a mild frown. He's wondering about the wings, yes. When she's finally in front of him, he pushes himself to his feet, trying to assess if something else is wrong. That death penalty question is just looming over his head, though instead of voicing it, he'll just start off slowly to make sure she's in one piece.]

... Martel.

Yuan. [There's an unspoken note of 'I missed you' in the way she says his name. Or more like, 'I would've missed you if I were conscious at all in this last week, but I've missed you since I woke up'.]

[Kratos has been outside, constantly on the search for Martel. He's not sure if Yuan has come out of his house long enough to do so, but if he hasn't... he wants to be there for her. As he walks, he frowns a little, then looks up at the sky. Thaaaat is a very familiar glowing that he sees there, Martel. He rushes over to where he saw her fly over, taking a wild guess on where she landed... But thankfully, that guess was correct. A moment after she lands, Kratos comes into view, walking briskly towards her.]

Martel.

Kratos. [She greets him even before she looks up toward him; she'd recognize that voice near as well as she'd recognize Yuan's. Her own voice is warm and welcoming, but sounds very tired. Her face looks content enough, but slightly dazed.]

[Kratos kneels down beside her, studying her carefully. He can pick up the exhaustion in her face and voice, though that's understandable. Most people who return from death in this world are like this or worse... His own voice sounds slightly softer than usual.]

Are you all right?

[Actually, the fatigue is mostly from waking up and then pretty much immediately flying back from the desert. She was in relatively good condition.]
