This week has been going surprisingly well. Maric, you were quite right. Scratch and sniff stickers are a perfect reward for my students. They loved them so much. Thanksgiving is only a week and a half away. The children have been making decorations for their homes and preparing for the traditional thanksgiving play in two wednesdays. It's quite exciting. -

Halloween was enjoyable. Students came to class in costume and exchanged candy. It's almost sad to see it go. -

The debates lately have been a bit worrisome. They continuously talk about the war but never about other issues, such as laguz rights or equality issues. It would be really nice to see laguz and beorc getting along, just like the children in my classes do. They can't even see the differences.

I just hope that Sheeda doesn't get sick from that lasagna. I followed the instructions yet I managed to turn the top layers into a smoldering mess. It was still edible (well, mostly). I think next time, I'll stick to boxed meals or those TV dinner lasagnas. At least I can make those ( Read more... ) -

The hustle and bustle of school is finally beginning to settle just a bit. Thankfully there haven't been any more spilled paint fiascoes as of late.
I need to find something decent to cook for this weekend that is not out of a box. I wonder how difficult lasagna is to bake... -
