REAL

I find myself getting irritated by things that don’t fit nicely in predetermined models. I am specifically talking about work, and generally about life. Well said! I would add that mental model building is something we do all the time. For most people this is an easier process than modifying an engineering model. The goal is the same, to predict the future behavior relevant to the modeled object. Flexible people can modify their models even if that means losing cherished assumptions. Dysfunctional people retain broken models of how the world behaves rather than reshape their internal landscape. Your influence has increased the subtlety of my internal landscape.

Wow ... i love this piece ...

The funny thing is that I, as a person/woman/mom/wife/lover, don’t fit nicely into what our society holds as a model. I don’t wear makeup. I don’t shave. I laugh ‘too’ loud. I hate to shop for clothes and shoes. I like to be comfortable. I have my sexual kinks (that I won’t go into). Getting to know me, the real me, takes a lot of effort and time.

while we are not *exactly* the same -- incredible to find someone who can articulate so much of what i often think and feel ...

and the poem... very, very "real"

warmly,
kit
