quiet hands, quiet kiss on the mouth

Easter Sunday was quiet this year. I spent the early morning at Fairmount Park taking photos of the cherry trees (as seen in this entry) and then spent the rest of the day with my parents. That might sound snobbish of me, but I think Ladurée macarons are overrated. They just benefit from their efficient marketting strategies and their "French touch" to attract potential customers. I fell for it at first, but the more it goes, the more expensive they get while their quality is not improving. Pierre Hermé macarons are better in my opinion.

I was also thinking you can reuse the Holly Hobby applique by making it into a brooch with some scrap lace or chiffon..
