What is it with our calico cat, Amelia?! In addition to her cat food and treats (of course! ;), she loves to eat freshly eaten corn on the cob corn cobs (bears into the corn cob like a bone!), and fresh roses as in rose arrangements that come to our house

Ha ha that just reminded me of my mum's chow dog... bless the thing loved corn on the cob. She'd nibble off the corn like a typewriter with her one paw holding it firm until she was ready to roll to the next line. I miss her :-(

Our old cat loved corn on the cob too - as you say, she'd chew it like a bone. She also loved runner beans. Our other cat just didn't get what she was making such a fuss about!

Ha, ha, we have a second cat that is like yours, too! It just looks at Amelia and seems to be thinking, "how stupid can you be!?!?" ;)

Hi Stranger! How've you been?

My boys love corn cobs--they'd devour them if I'd let 'em. Pop corn, however, they are allowed to eat, and it's a fun food too!

Some are very odd indeed! Sometimes Amelia likes to lick the venetian blinds, purring happily as she licks off all that old dust! Blah! ;)

But then you don't have to dust the venetian blinds. Sounds like a good tradeoff to me... except cats and I don't get along.

I never thought I would like cats, and I was allergic for years. But somehow we now have two, I am not allergic, and they are just weird enough creatures that they are amusing and endearing.

But the blinds licking I agree does seem to be a win-win situation! ;)
