My new plexiglas 5.5 gallon tank is working out so well for me and my cockroaches! They seem much "happier" than in the screened-in contraption I had them in before, and they are contentedly hanging out on the two upside down cardboard pint berry containers I put in. A Visit to a Buddhist Monastery

Tiny Rescue
I was in the restroom at my work the other day and saw a tiny dark speck on the back edge of the sink as I was washing my hands. I took a close look at it, and the speck suddenly moved faster than my eye could track it!

Special Diet
What is it with our calico cat, Amelia?! In addition to her cat food and treats (of course! ;), she loves to eat freshly eaten corn on the cob corn cobs (bears into the corn cob like a bone!), and fresh roses as in rose arrangements that come to our house ( Read more... ) -

Rainy Saturday, With Some Fun
Today is rainy but warm, and Sally and I went to a friend's daughter's Bat Mitzvah this morning. The synagogue is a few blocks from our house, so Sally and I walked over (it was just lightly drizzling). The Reformed rabbi was very good, very open minded and very well read.
