Friday was a boy's night in two halves: 
6pm - 9pm Ben and me making dinner, eating dinner, smoking, drinking, playing cards, listening to music, talking crap. 
9pm - 2am Plardy and me smoking, drinking, listening to music, talking crap.

I finished work yesterday, went home, knocked one off the wrist, had a power-nap, then headed out to see The National at the Rescue Rooms.

As I got within yards of the venue I was horrified to find that my ticket was not in the pocket I'd put it in. It wasn't in any pocket. I knew I'd taken it with me so it must have fallen out of my back pocket. ( Read more... )
