Yesterday morning was probably by far the most perfect weather I have ever seen in Lubbock. It was completely overcast but enough light got through to have very good visibility. I was out of town again for quite a week to help my half-brother move. His oldest (step)daughter stayed because she didn't want to leave her friends. Several issues have come up with the house lately. The disposal unit hasn't been working for a while so we can't use that part (i can't even bring myself to call it half) of the sink and we have to rig the dishwasher to drain into the other part of the sink. i ended up not going to the job fair last week. i decided that i didn't like the fact that the only funds i would have access to was the money in my pocket for gas and any emergency. i decided to wait until the one tomorrow. i'm set on going and have already begun preparing. hopefully all will go well ( Read more... ) -

the road and ageing
