I spent the last four days in Abilene. I was supposed to be there to help my brother move my deceased grandparent's belongings from their old house in to storage. I've pretty much exhausted my short term possibilities for employment. I submitted my application to grad school today and will begin studying for the GRE in the morning. I was reminded the other day about why I love living in the South and in a smaller city. I got really messed up on Wednesday night. I drank too much too fast so by the time I realized I had had "enough" to drink it was already too late. That was the first night I've ever thrown up because of drinking too much alcohol and the first time I've not been able to remember a large portion of the night. I did pay for it on Thursday though. I don't think some people realize exactly how much time and effort it takes to look for a full-time job. I always thought it was a pain to find a part-time or manual labor job when I was younger.
