1. He is young and wants to prove himself (perhaps it is his first mission).
Ummm...Sora's like that too? I don't really see much significance to his rushing, since they're all after the same guy and he might just want to do his part. In fact, I don't see that much significance to his being frozen, and I think the whole point of that movie is suggesting it's either the past of Kingdom Hearts (it seems that baldie had it summoned there, or they were waiting for that particular moment) of events happening in between the game/within the storyline. Either way, Gollum-san must be pretty strong to have beaten all of the knights, and yet those knights can take on Sora with a single hit.
She does look sad and horrified, but then turns her attention to the pretty blue heart in the sky. It's like she's disappointed in what happened, especially since he has no idea what's going on, but knows he won't die.My guess is momentary shock, and then a jolt back to reality when his/her attention turned to OMGKINGDOMHEARTSINTHESKY! What seems plausible

Touche. xD Maybe I just read too much into things. *shrugs* It just seemed like Gollum wanted to make an example out of not!Roxas but I forgot some of the things I wrote since I tend to ramble. xD Gollum now reminds me of Voldemort as well, for his super!strength.
What seems plausible to me is that KH being summoned by Gollum is giving a nasty reaction to the knights (hence the blue-to-gold eyes?)I agree with you wholeheartedly. They didn't seem too happy that Gollum summoned anything. Wait, does this mean Kingdom Hearts can be summoned anywhere? I found it interesting that his keyblade melted into that ball of light, so maybe that has something to do with it. (Keyblades with keychains = meltable, and can summon things? xD Maybe that's why the knights were looking at Sora/Riku/Mickey's

It seems more likely that they were all sent there or whatnot. At least, it looks like it had to be there or something, otherwise why would the scene of Mickey at the end...well, you know that scene.
FIRST IT'S NOT A DOOR, AND NOW IT'S NOT YELLOW.
I think what took place might have been earlier/in between...hence the knight armor stowed in Xemnas' secret lair (what I assume is the "Place of Sleep") being in some of the new KH2+ FM cutscenes. Maybe it's an evolution thing, since Kingdom Hearts had been attempted to be casted and destroyed multiple times?

It probably does have something to do with location, but why didn't they send more knights. Being that these ones got their asses handed to them. I'm also wondering that particular place is so important. (Mickey might have seen the big OMGKINGDOMHEARTS in the sky though, like that Dark Mark (?) in Harry Potter.)

Evolution? That sounds interesting. Maybe it has to do with how complete it is? You'd think there's at least some significance to the color.
I don't think it's Roxas. I refuse to believe it. Honestly, I believe it's a different dimension Roxas because I believe this all happens in the past. That's my guess.
I don't think it's him either (or at least hope it isn't). The resemblance makes it so much sadder though. Dx DAMMIT NOMURA. STOP TORTURING EVERY BLOND KID YOU COME ACROSS.
