I find it extremely annoying that I cannot say anything un-profound (which is often the case) AND admit to people that I am in love with the Disney without people reminding me that I am going to Yale. What the hell does that have to do with anything? I am not THAT dumb that I cannot even remember where I will be next year ( Read more... )

If everyone at Yale doesn't like things like Disney and never says anything superficial, then it sounds like a kind of boring place. :P

I say stupid things ALL the time. And even though I'm not the world's most raving Disney fan, I like plenty of movies that aren't exactly intellectual...so they're wrong, Yale isn't just a place for snobby elitist people!

I'M A RAVING DISNEY FAN.

and though this particular situation has never happened to me, i always get the "where are you going to college," followed by my answer, followed by a dumbstruck silence, and "wow. you must be like a genius or something."

but yeah, disney rocks. i cry at the end of mulan every time, but sleeping beauty is my favorite.

OMGish!!! We should totally have a Disney Night at Yale!!! Do you only like the cartoon movies or do you like the shows too? HOw about those movies like The High School Musical???

I love Mulan so much!!! Did you see Mulan 2 yet??? I like the first one alot better!? I think my fav is the Litte Mermaid.

I wonder if I should bring my Disney collection up to Yale. The only problem is that all of them are VHS, and I don't know if there's gonna be a VHS player up there. With DVDs, we can pop them into our laptops!!!!

i dont watch many disney shows, but do you watch degrassi (sort of related). and i love pixar.

they MUST have a vhs player somewhere.

I tend to stay far from Disney sequels! But I remember in the 90s when around every June I think, a new Disney movie would come out and we'd go see it on Tuesday cheap nights. Ahh, good times. Now I don't hear about big new Disney cartoon movies coming out. Mulan is one of my faves. I should rewatch it one day. But Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin are the second and third Disney movies I got so I watched them tons.
And laptops are awesome for DVDs! I enjoyed watching my Friends and Gilmore Girls DVDs on here.
