OMG I'm just a little bit traumatized. I thought it was one of the most fantabulous things I've ever seen in a movie theatre. I've seen it five times, and the expression on Roger's face when Mimi tells him that she has AIDS makes me cry EVERY TIME.
I'll admit, it was a little bit weak in parts (Christ, I said we shouldn't trust Chris Columbus with the damn thing in the first place) but I think that the music, the performances, and above all the message more than made up for where the structure faltered.
It's ok, chica. I'm just a little sulky now. We're still BFF, I promise! XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO
