I think everyone that does manips has done a pirate manip but me. I just finished watching PotC3 (liked it much better than 2) - and decided to indulge my pirate mood.

Orlando Bloom does make a very yummy base for Spike. :-) I thought the colors suited him as well - it was a very straightforward manip - just a head swap, getting the akin colors to match and working in the whiskers for a swarthier look.
