The Road to the Superbowl...

is pictured here - running directly through Lambeau Field.

We beat the Seahawks last week in a snowstorm and face the much improved Giants tomorrow with game time temperatures predicted to be below zero.

The frozen tundra. The Packers. FAVRE.

It's football. And I love it.

GO PACK!

Everyone is predicting a close game - but then all the experts predicted a close game with Seattle and look what happened there.

This whole season has been like an amazing gift - unexpected, slightly shocking and wonderful.

If we go to the Superbowl - just WOW! And I think our chances are good. Can't wait for the game!

It has been a great gift, for which I think the most thanks go to Ted Thompson. Who I, and almost everyone else, owe a huge apology to. The man is a far bettern GM than I could ever imagine.

I tend to avoid talking about management, but I'm afraid I owe him an apology, too.

If the team holds together, I see good things over the next few years. And it sounds like Favre plans to hang around. :-) Though it would break my heart, I do feel that if we go on to beat the Pats in the Superbowl, it would be the best scenario for Brett's retirement that I could imagine.

Go Packers!! Crush Eli!!! =) (Obligated to say that since the Giants beat the Cowboys last week...the hub is still depressed.)

Not that I think the Giants will be an easy opponent (because I certainly don't), but I am very glad we're playing this game at home rather than in Dallas. :-)

But Eli's QB rating is a pathetic 63 in very cold conditions.

He's easily flustered. Get the crowd chanting, "Eeeeeeeeeeli, Eeeeeeeeeeeli," and he'll crumple like the whiny kid he is.

I'm in Bears' country. :o But I have to admit that I love Favre. Since the Bears are (waaay) out of the running for the Superbowl I hope that the Packers win. I'll be rooting for them (kinda quietly considering I AM in enemy territory!)

*hugs*

In a way, it's kind of like a Badger fan rooting for Ohio State in their bowl game 'cause they're in your conference. And as a Bears fan, if we win, you can gloat that you beat us twice this year!! :-)

I liked football before Favre, but he made me love it. When he retires, I'll thank him, praise him and wish him a lifetime of happiness. Then I'll close my door and cry.

*hugs*

My 15 yr old is insanely happy. He's been a Packers fan since he was tiny and has had to endure endless ribbing from his cousins, who are rabid Colts fans. No one smiled more than him when the Colts choked last week and he called every last one of them and GLOATED.

I won't even complain when I get his cell phone bill LOL

In loving the Packers, your son shows very good sense leading me to conclude that he was raised by an Extraordinary Woman!

:-)

High five him for me!

GO PACK!!

The best of luck, I'll be rooting for you guys -- if my Redskins can't have it, then I want you guys to go beat the Giants and then squish those cheater-cheater-pumpkin-eaters, the Pats.

Go Pack!!

LOL.

The Pats are pretty freaking good this year - no denying. But wouldn't it be unbelievably great if it ends up being Packers/Pats and the old man goes in and knocks off the unbeaten team?

Yeah...

*dreamy smile*
