YAY! Another scene finished. I'm currently at 2657 words! I've also got some betas - Roz (kermitfries00) as always will be doing the basics while Cally (eldestmuse) will be handling character corrections. Which is awesome because I'm having trouble keeping Eric in character - or even knowing if he is in character. Anyway, sample below!

NaNoWriMo taught me the fine art of giving myself permission to suck. I don't try to write well on the first draft. My goal is to power through the scene and get the word count down ( ... )

Right. I totally get what you mean. Its like, you need to get the basic idea down, then write the gist of it, then the details and then prettify it. Thats why I like writing on paper these days. It forces you to do these things in steps instead of worrying about it immediately.
