It's a great morning.  Damned be the neo-racists.  For the first time in a long time, the man who will be sitting in the Oval Office is a man I'm truly proud of. That's a strangely huge relief.

My first grown-up job mainly being to cater to children. Woo.

I will write more. So far, so good. My dogs love living here at camp.

Also, Richard and I get married in just under a year. I am so excited. :)

I just finished watching the adapted-to-screen version of A.S. Byatt's Possession, circa 2002 and fleshed out with Gwyneth Paltrow (awesomely good Maud) and Aaron Eckhart (sad, sad, stupid and overly attractive version of should-be-admirably-scholarly Roland). Why on earth am I so prone to sudden bouts of shyness?

I hate how I'm nearly the only person in my contemporary literature class who speaks up. Dr. Butler makes some pretty valid points and the readings are solid, but it wouldn't be a gross estimation to say that I do about eighty percent of the class's discussing solo.
