Working towards the "complaint-free" life

I've joined an affintiy group at our UU fellowship called "A Complaint-free World".  Several members are already referring to it as the "quit yer bitchin group". I think I like the second title better. ;)

So I'll be practicing gratitude as much as I can.

But since the group hasn't started meeting yet, I'm going to complain.

Hugs. Have you read Barbara Ehrenreich's book about unemployed white collar workers? Because one could argue that being angry is different from complaining, and the book made *me* angry, and I'm not even looking for a job!

Good luck either way, and there's definitely good that can come of facing life more positively (much as I've started focusing my wishes on my neighbors winning a huge amount of money in the lottery as a way of solving my irritations with the neighborhood)

Thanks Julia. I have read that book. It's very true.

LOL about the neighbors winning the lottery. I assume you're hoping they'd move when they won. Otherwise imagine what they could do with money.....
