I feel incredibly guilty for feeling so low - because Katie and Sam have had their baby and I thought I'd coped so well when I had my miscarriage, but I think the grief must have been tucked away somewhere because it's all come spilling out since Ebby's new little half sister was born yesterday. You're not being daft. You're reacting to a situation which is tearing you up inside.

I take it you and Katie are no longer friends (As I live a few hundred miles away, I'm often oblivious to these things!).. it's sad that Sam (I'm guessing is her new husband?) is posting things on the internet that are meant to hurt you (because, there's no other reason for posting something like that other than to cause you pain).

To be a mature adult, he really should not make any reference of any kind or use a child to hurt someone else close to that child. It's wrong in so many ways.

Well it was always Bob that was my friend really, Katie and I were friends but Sam kind of came between us, and I guess it's awkward too now that I'm with her ex husband and having a hand in bringing up her daughter.

Sam, unfortunatley is still very much a child in some ways. He's 19 so it's understandable that maybe he still has a bit of growing up to do. But I agree that using a child to get to someone is the worst thing a person can do.

You'll get there hun, don't you worry. As you know I'm an optimist and it's the only thing I can be, but as you also know, I know some things ;)

hey hun, chin up- you're a good person and i know you must be a good mother. the thing that gets me when people break up etc is that its all about the grown ups and they dont focus on the children who it affects the most. you're doing, the right thing and considering ebonys emothional well being xxx

Actually to be fair - they have all put Ebony first. There was a time when all us grown ups were arguing etc over custody and 'lifestyle' issues, but we always put her first and made sure she was happy and comfortable and safe, coz after all she's the most important one of all of us xx
