Basically, Reese is scaling back for awhile, due to Sarah Shahi's RL pregnancy, so Charlie will temporarily get a new partner(?). And there will be some distancing or mistrust between Reese and Charlie, which makes me sad just thinking about it. But like edgy and I discussed, they all but promise to bring the partners back together in a strong way.
You know, they seem to be promoting and positioning Life better this year. Critics and TWoP are showering it with love. Is it just me, or does Life suddenly feel like it has legs? *goes outside to turn around three times and spit*
Drat. Not that I actually thought there was a chance in hell of getting someone from my wish list into that partner slot, but still. I'm unmoved by this choice.
I'm still hopeful about Season 3, but it sort of infuriated me when Rand Ravich mentioned that "...the Jay Leno thing carves out an enormous chunk of prime time over here at my network..."
I have such a love/hate relationship with NBC/Universal. NBC has magnificent shows like Life, The Office, and 30 Rock, and then puts them at risk by packing their lineup with crap like Deal or No Deal! And now Leno? Who the hell needs MORE inane talk shows in prime time? I would have thought it would be CBS, but apparently it's NBC.
And don't even get me started on SciFi network. They break my heart on a yearly basis.
*goes outside to turn around three times and spit* Toby is concerned.
But yes, Life does seem to be getting more love lately. I think the success of CBS's "Mentalist" has actually helped Life. Plus, most of the new shows this season were so bad, shows like Life stood out.
Gabrielle Union?! Seriously? I have seen her be ok in a few things, but she is just too...sparkly. She looks like she was made by a group that supplies pretty, perky girls to Hollywood for when they don't want to pay a real actress.
Actually, she was excellent in Bring It On...but my point stands.
Ok-finally saw the episode (I was not avoiding you MM, just busy).

on the thread the other day (the one I pointed out to you and misreall because we were talking about Life so much). So you might have already read it.

I feel a bit homicidal right now.
