Update since my last post
Well, I almost had a positive update (the only reason I bothered to follow up after saying I was done). Someone known as "DazzlexMe" who at the time hadn't even posted in the offending thread had decided to just organize a "Harry Potter" photoshoot of her own and merely posted it to the master list. And I was fine with that. She did it without showing the attitude that other group did. In fact I was ready to laugh at the stuck-up group of usurpers who hadn't even figured out what times yet, or at least they would realize that maybe DazzlexMe had the right idea (a gathering at the Yule Ball is quite logical, after all- even I'd conceded that) instead of continuing their hosting pursuits. That, and from what I could tell, the whole thing was really, truly over.
Nope. There went that one who is better friends with the main offender than she lets on (you know, the one who one minute said she "didn't care for next gen" then said "I want my baby", chewed out Shadow for using a term she herself had previously used against me (yes, I know I linked to one post twice), mentions her lively Skype sessions with the main offender on The Other Site where as of right now interstingly enough she still hasn't unfriended me or Shadow, and most importantly said wasn't gonna take sides but clearly took the main offender's), ensuring they made the list after all. I want to take this moment to remind everyone that C***-k**, N**-K****, P*******, and M***f**** (names censored but if you look at the thread links in my previous post you can figure out who they are) are the ones who held up the Sunday shoot last year for over an hour (well, at least C***-k** and M***f**** did, anyway) due to their own shoe/costume issues and have yet to actually apologize (they are, again, apparently under the impression that reiterating why they were so late makes me look like a bad host and is a good alternative for an apology), thus cannot be relied on the host a photoshoot/gathering at all. Oh, did I mention that that group is apparently into planking (I got that impression from a comment someone made when P******* mentioned her Skype session on The Other Site)? And how I had in fact changed the time of he Sunday shoot last year for them and they still didn't show up? All that makes interesting how, if anyone noticed, they demand say all that they ask is for "courtesy and respect". And again, I don't care about being the first to post a thread or the one to organiize (doesn't my acceptance of DazzlexMe doing so indicate this?), it's the attitude conveyed and that crap that group pulled last year that's my issue. Heck, I don't even care about C***-k**'s turquoise wig any more (though I still wouldn't want pictures with her or anyone cosplaying that character, and I don't have to be in such pictures), though she and her group will continue to claim such to make themselves look better.
