I'm back! Hurray

Oct 02, 2010 06:05

Well its been a while, but I'm back. That's right. I'm back, with a new sue and an old suethor to share with the community. I've been in the middle of writing my own fan-fiction (yeah, come to the pit of voles and watch an author abandon all their principles). Anyway, it preoccupied by time, that and work, but now I had some time so here I am.

What killed me about this Sue is that she actually admits to being born in 1801 which would make her 209 years old. So she's actually mad at the guy for being attracted to how old she looks. It just irritated me so much.

And the fact that he goes from being 48 to 40 in a paragraph. You don't even have to go back to see what you wrote on another page, just look up! Just raise your eyes a tiny bit on the screen and see your inconsistency!! That's all she had to do and she couldn't do it.

"oh… NEVER MIND…. I THINK I GOTS WHAT HAPPENED…"

Explain it to me, please? I don't think I could ever 'gots' this fanfiction.

"I am too. Other wise some big burly dude would be here." she said, taking a strawberry. "I love you so much that I gave up hunting people, and switched to hunting animals, all because you said to." she ran her fingers through the detective's hair.
"did you catch any thing?" he asked.
"yup! A deer!" she said happily, "and got home before you did!"

*twitch* This story makes my brain hurt.

I liked in this story how even her OC was OOC, you know? What I mean is, vampires are chosen as characters for a certain ambiance-old world beauty, class, style, or in Dracula's case devilish strangeness and evil allure.

Why choose an immortal creature, beautiful, preternatural, haunting, and make her act like a 13 year old anime fangirl? (c.f. 'yup!' 'Jesus-Goats' and 'aliums' none of which, I might add, are funny).

1. I fully agree with you about the drunk people. I fucking hate it so much when people act like that, I feel your pain, I really do ( ... )

Yes, see, I agree with you. It is a double standard--however, and refreshingly, it seems to be changing. Women are being recognized as being in their prime later on in life (not to devalue the youth of today, mind you) but the standard seems to be changing. Hopefully, it will.

However, you need to tell the guy your nineteen. Heck, for all we know, he may have been attracted to her for her crying sounds.

And anyway, pervert might be a bit of a stretch. Yeah, sure, I'll give you pig, a*hole, loser, but not pervert.

Oh, the stupid, it hurts! It takes a special kind of Sueness to be inconsistent with your own OC.

The sporking was hilarious, though.

Long time no see! I missed you all, and thanks for the compliment.

Wait till you see the next one I'm working on. She's a Sephiroth fangirl of the Kingdom Heart's variety. Oh joy.

Ah, DUDE, I'm in the process of sporking a vampire!sue, too!!! They're my personal favorite of the sue species as it's used as an excuse to do pretty much anything. Dare to question the suethor and their response is, "Well, they're a vampire!!!" in less grammatically correct terms, of course.

Anyway, going with the age thing, too... did SHE seduce him? I mean, yeah, very few people want old dudes hitting on them but if you're giving the guy the okay then I don't see them in the wrong.

Geez... the "comdey." I write primarily comedy and it takes a while to get the hang of, admittedly, but I consider spoutting off random phrases in silly pronunciations to be a insanely young person's view of what is funny, thus also very amateur. So I just hope that this suethor is 12 AT THE OLDEST!!! Even worse is when people TELL them their funny, because then you get more of it...

I'm trying to be funny in my recent fic too, but its a really dry, blink-and-you-miss-it sort of funny. I'm a tragedian at heart.

I honestly hope she finishes this, because I cannot wait to see what kind of jack-assery the vampire gets into when she faces off with Kira. Blah blah blah she's immortal, Kira can't kill her, yes, I can see that one coming from forty miles away on a moving horse.

Vampire sues...from hell's heart they stab at me.

I really hope the Suethor is 11-12 years old because she has a lot of room for improvement in that case. If she's older... I weep.
