yup, my computer is quite talkative, but it's usually not a nice conversation... most of the time it informs me that it can't do what I want it to do and if I insist on continuing, it may crash completely *headdesk*. unfortunately it's never so nice to greet me with 'hello' :/. this file is a letter I was writing a long time ago and should have been deleted for months :P.

Dharma Initiative Logos, to be precise :). it's a bunch of Dharma, Hanso and Oceanic Logos. you can find it here, if you want to :).

I'm glad you like my wallpaper - it suits my somewhat melancholic mood quite well.

oh, a hug is always welcome so *HUGS BACK*, but these files' names are somewhat deceiving - 'rant' was a rant once but now it's just a bunch of codes for different memes for LJ... 'lonely', I think, was once the file where I wrote about my feelings re: spending my birthday by myself and lack of decent vacation - it became an LJ entry later, now it contains a bit of another planned LJ entry, not very positive either, but the crisis it concerns was resolved almost two months ago...

lost vids - yup :). and it's a dvd too! and a second one at that :P. what can I say, I'm a vid hound (I'm downloading Supernatural vid right this second :D).

I love all colours...I think it's a more practical reason that I like dark backgrounds though, considering my laptop is on 24/7.

:P A hug never hurt anyone....... unless of course they were squeezed too tightly... LOL.

yeah, I have A LOT OF icons... the difference between us is that I'm the sole user of this computer, so I can't blame my brother (not that I have one, anyway :P) for cluttering the desktop. mea culpa, entirely *hangs head in shame* ;).

"Gadu-Gadu" is a Polish IM, extremely popular in my country. its name translates to "chitchat". I like it much better than AIM, for example - besides being generally more user friednly (imo) it has much more emoticons and I love a good smilie :) (I even stole some of theirs for my LJ :P). and you can use as smilies other pics, as long as they're not too big - you can easily put them into your chat directly as well.

heh, neither of these actors appeared in SGA, lol. from what I know they joined the cast of Stargate SG1 (Stargate Atlantis' predecessor) in later seasons... I heard that Ben Browder was supposed to get Joe Flanigan's part as John Sheppard but he still had a contract with Farscape, so tptb went with JF. as you see it could have been Ben Browder on my desktop :P (though my obsession with SGA is tightly bound with Joe Flanigan, so... who knows?)

Farscape is on my to watch list - I hear only praises about this series, I have to check it out someday :).
