It's June, and it was 2010 when I left home, so the football (or, ah, soccer, if you're American) world cup was supposed to be this summer. And although it would be impossible to get anything of that status going here, it might be interesting to have some sort of a football (soccer) tournament. It's a sport. The basic idea is to get the most points by kicking the ball into the goal.

Because nations like America found it necessary to call the game soccer. America plays some game he calls football which doesn't seem to have very much to do with actually kicking a ball around, but it's really up to him on what he decides to call something.

I think Japan calls it some derivative of "soccer" as well, but I imagine that's from post-World War II influence.
