I returned some books to the library the other day and I realized I left my favorite green bookworm bookmark in one of them. Boo! I liked that thing, and more importantly, the cats loved it, they kept trying to steal it from me. It had quite the collection of bite marks, some of them even mine. Boo again. I'm NOT about to call the library and ask ( Read more... )

"some of them even mine"? :p

That's too bad about your bookmark. Get Dave to call and say it's his.

I'm not sure they would understand him...

And yes, I do tend to chew on my bookmarks. Nothing to be ashamed off, really. :D

He could pose as a eccentric American with a devotion to bookworms, no? ;)

We still have books around which my brother read while young... you can tell all the bits where he was getting tense about the story because there's a strip of paper torn away at the bottom margin of the page.

Thankfully I've outgrown my habit of chewing books or tearing off little strips of paper. But yeah, I used to be that much of a bookworm. :P

If its your favorite bookmark, you should totally call! You can't be embarasssed about things like that.

I accidentally mailed one of my True Blood dvds back to Netflix instead of the movie I had borrowed. I felt a little silly calling them about it but they actually tracked it down and mailed it back to me.

Collection of bite marks? Hmmm...*grin*

Dunno. I'll think about it, maybe I'll call Monday.

And see above about the bite marks. It has *nothing* to do with my obsession with vampires. Really. Honestly. :D

Have you read Sunshine by Robin McKinley? You might like it.

Not yet but I've seen other people recommend it. I'll get to it one day.

Ring them! Life is too short to care what other people think.

+1 on the Sunshine rec - it's definitely worth a read, although it's not perfect. But McKinley is one of those master storytellers - you can't help but enjoy reading her stories.

I'll add it to my list, then. It's a long, long list.
