I returned some books to the library the other day and I realized I left my favorite green bookworm bookmark in one of them. Boo! I liked that thing, and more importantly, the cats loved it, they kept trying to steal it from me. It had quite the collection of bite marks, some of them even mine. Boo again. We still have books around which my brother read while young... you can tell all the bits where he was getting tense about the story because there's a strip of paper torn away at the bottom margin of the page.

I accidentally mailed one of my True Blood dvds back to Netflix instead of the movie I had borrowed. I felt a little silly calling them about it but they actually tracked it down and mailed it back to me.
Collection of bite marks? Hmmm...*grin*

+1 on the Sunshine rec - it's definitely worth a read, although it's not perfect. But McKinley is one of those master storytellers - you can't help but enjoy reading her stories.
