Sooo...I just feel like I ought to get all my doubts and worries down on paperish. It's not paper, it's cyperspace, but who really cares

You are SO going to get into college, trust me on this. Reasons: you did the AIDS conference thing, which looks great you've done lots of political activism, which looks great you've done CSSSA TWICE, which looks FANTASTIC even moderate grades look good next to sincere interests you've done lots of extracurricular plays/musicals you've given your time doing lots of worthwhile things you're an awesome, creative person and can thus write a good admittance essay
Trust me, you'll get into college. It's a lot less difficult than people from high school would like you to think.
Additionally, there's no way you can really know what voice type you're going to have yet. I'm just barely at the point where my voice teacher can say with some confidence that I'm probably going to be a soprano, and I'm two years older than you with several months of professional training under my belt. You'll probably never sing The Queen of the Night, but you may be singing Mimi yet =P
Rebecca, as has been said before, you are a two-time California Arts Scholar, the head of your GSA, and are very active within that community. Not to mention your work with vote-getting. You have plenty to set you apart, and if there's ANYONE who'll get into college, it'll be you. Believe me, I had the same worries (especially once I started getting a couple of rejections), but it usually works out in the end. My only bit of advice is not to put your entire reason for being alive on ONE college. Put it onto several. Because you never know if the one you have your heart set on will think the same of you. But you, of all people, will get into college. I know people much less qualified to go to any college who have been accepted.

It's what got me into my top choice, and I only went once. You went twice for different subjects.
