Oh my, I decided to try out kubuntu. It's Ubuntu with KDE, as you might, or might not, figure from the name... And all the k-goodies just helped me make up my mind about the distro I'm going to use. amaroK, Konqueror etc. Kubuntu hoary should be out at about the same time as Ubuntu hoary, and that's probably in about a couple of weeks. I tried installing the Ubuntu Hoary but it wasn't that stable yet, so I decided to stick with SuSE 9.2 until Hoary is officially released. Then I'll try installing it again. YaST is still quite a mystery to me. Synaptic Package Manager that came with Ubuntu was pretty intuitive and easy to use, but YaST isn't. Maybe it's just some one small thing ( Read more... )
