On Thursday, June 5, 2008, I will be three months from my surgery date. I've lost a total of 75 pounds and feel great! I'm completely off my blood pressure medicine, in fact, my surgeon said I no longer have high blood pressure. I'm not tired all the time, my knees and feet don't hurt and I just feel better and more comfortable in general.

So for weeks, I've known I would be alone on Christmas Day...Steve had to work; he's a nurse...enough said. My did parents spent Christmas Eve night with us.  I just finished watching To Kill A Mockingbird. For some reason I have never seen this one from beginning to end. What an amazing film; especially since it was made in 1962

 Well it's official...I will no longer be an employee of the State of Ohio after the first of the year. I currently work under a University of Cincinnati contract at Ethicon Endo-Surgery; that contract will not be renewed and runs out 1/30/08. I need to work at UC until at least 3/31/08 to be vested ( Read more... )
