It came up in an online discussion about Rick Santorum. Like: "Oh, of course he's a dick. He's not a real Christian; he's a ROMAN Catholic." As if his douchebaggery is a direct product of his being Catholic, and as if members of other denominations of Christianity can't be as shitty and bigoted as he is.

I'm just irritated that so many people don't understand (or pretend not to understand) that there are a lot of Christian denominations out there. And I'm even more irritated when I feel compelled to play devil's advocate for assholes like Santorum and Romney (because [!]Mormons aren't real Christians either[!], apparently).

ie my former denomination. They're awful about it. Dont listen. they're just as much jackasses if not more.
