Iv'e heard once that if you die in a dream then you die in real life aswell.
I can say 100% right now that is not true.

I had a dream acouple days ago that I got my head chopped off by a shovel. After that while still in the dream my vision faded to nothing but black.
I then either woke up or started a new dream.
