I know it isn't exactly the same as being on the New York Times bestseller list, but having even a few people vote on my story is pretty exciting to me. This story started off as a kind of weird self-inflicted inside joke (I haven't written anything in years), so I was surprised to find myself getting sucked in by the whole process.

The sequel is still going well, spending time on it every day. I'm currently finishing up the next to last scene - I just have to wrap it up and then begins editing. It kills me that it's taking so long, but I'm feeling good about how it's turning out. It's already five or six pages longer than the first one, my biggest enemy has been scope creep.

Like I said above, once the whole thing is nearly done I'll do final editing from beginning to end so I can get it out a little earlier.

Anyway, thanks for checking back, it seriously just made my day to know somebody's still interested.

Well hello again! I'm really glad you guys enjoyed it. I'm excited to say Part 2's rough draft is complete - I'm in the home stretch now. I've been running through it, fixing errors and doing general improvements, trying to get it ready to start posting. I'm finally at the point where I can confidently say it should be out within the month. (Sorry, I'm slow as all hell)

I'm pretty psyched about how close it's getting, and once again, it's great to know somebody enjoyed it.
