When you kill Sidonis during Garrus' loyalty mission, Shepard can snap at him, asking if he's finally done with the revenge business, to which he answers yes

Loving this prompt! There was a fill a fair while back, lovely (angsty) litle short story with a similar pretext. (how I wish my computer hadn't eaten my bookmarks!)I remember it being about a post-reaper war Garrus who had gone nuts after being given bad orders in battle, and went on a revenge based killing spree until the council sends Shepard after him. In the end Shepard kills him....it's a heartbreaking little piece, and one of my personal favorite fills on here. If anyone else knows it, a link would be very welcome...trying to re-find my favorite stories to bookmark again.:)

Honestly think that's the way it's most likely to go. Both in ME1 and ME2 he asks you to help him kill someone completely without understanding why it would be wrong to do so, and in ME3 there's the little issue with the Reapers in the way, otherwise I'm sure that's what he'd want to do then, too. There's nothing in the game to suggest he had a change of heart. Depending on whether you paragoned or renegaded him, at least. If he got supported killing both "Dr. Heart" and Sidonus, there's no way he wouldn't keep killing.
