Helloooo, internet!

Feb 23, 2007 23:45

So I was taking a break from my quest for the universal truth to check out this LiveJournal thing everybody's so crazy about and what do I find? It turns out Byron Orpheus of all people has been spending his weekends hangin' out at wild parties with a bunch of rock stars. Better be careful there, buddy, people might start thinking you actually know ( Read more... )

Yeah, I kinda figured. Still glad to hear the guy's actually getting out for once, though.

Oh, hey! Uh, if you're looking for "a bunch of single men" you're in the right place. I think there's only five girls in our whole "group."
How's that Philosopher's Stone thing coming?

Heya, kiddo! I should've figured you were hanging around here too. If I knew how popular this Journal stuff was I would have checked it out sooner.

The Philosopher's Stone? Well, that's really more of a metaphor... but work is kind of at a standstill. At least the new computer should help with the research.

... Right, you were part of the crew that crashed my super-sonic jet into the nonsensical flying butterfly abomination that one time.

Yeah, I don't believe anyone thinks Orpheus has 'lightened up' at all. He seems to often sleep through things.

Nonsensi--- WHAT about a cocoon screamss "nonsensical" to you??? It's a THEME. Butterflies, cocoons, come ON, Venture.

Pft. Oh, please. Everything about you is pretty nonsensical... It's a giant 'coccoon' that flies. And butterflies don't even come out of cocoons, so that makes it all the more stupid. Have I not said all this before??

Well a flying butterfly would just be gay. And wouldn't have nearly as much room.

They do so! During their... metamorphosis stage thing. When they transform using the mystical powers of nature fom a lowly worm into the magnificent, deadly Monarch butterfly.

Well, I can't say I get many complaints.

Good to meet you too, Myron! Attorney, huh? Bein' a little green guy and all, I kinda had you pegged as the supervillain type.

Ah, my dear Alchemist has finally joined us on the ever-changing digital medium!

The parties are only wild when zombies, liberation fighters, and drama attack. I only drink occasionally, and healing isn't exactly the most easy of the magical arts to do.

And well yes, I do have a bit of a sleeping problem, I will admit that. However, it is because I spend all my energy patching up wounds from our latest attack by the shambling abominations of scientific failure or orange-hatted liberation front members who deem fit to attack the very park on which we enjoyed a break.

And fun? Byron Orpheus NEVER has fun! Except when chasing Torrid with the Order and at the parties interacting with all the strange denizens of our little online community...

Hey! There was no 'scientific failure' involved with that incident there, buddy. If my project had been a failure, then we wouldn't have had anything to run from. The fact that they were so blood thirsty, is proof that my rejuvenation and bio-engeneering worked. They came out just as planned. Well, I mean, I hadn't wanted them to escape, obviously. That was a, uhm, containment unit malfunction. Technicality...
