Modest Mouse at the Fox Theater
I recently went to the Fox Theater in Oakland and watched an awesome Modest Mouse concert. The opening bands were Mimicking Birds (they were super mellow) and Japanese Motors (as far as I could tell, they weren't Japanese at all, hehe). Anyway, it was great. Check out the photo gallery:

Change
I'm at work, so I'll keep this short, but watching the Inauguration of Barack Obama as the 44th President of the United States stirred a lot of feelings. There were some trip ups (thanks Chief Justice!), but overall it was something else. Sunday drawing
I have a new drawing in my series of Sunday pieces...Like I said I would do last week, this is a realistic drawing of a photograph of someone (not in anime style). back in the saddle...
Just got together with my housemate and a friend to do some drawing yesterday. We're starting to do this thing where we get together every Sunday and just draw. This is the first drawing that I've done in a loooong time.
I like the idea of doing this because it forces me to follow through and complete a drawing, which I haven't done in a long time.

Long overdue update
lots of stuff has happened since my last post.
Due to monetary issues, I sold my motorcycle, but now I really want to ride again...we'll see how this works out.
My grandfather passed away a couple of months ago. It was pretty sad. I miss having him around, but I'm ok now.
Being in The Game again (or is it for the first time?) kinda sucks.

Minor update and some causes
So I've been doing well. Work is fine, though the number of projects that I'm working on have dropped drastically. Let's hope that it picks up before I head to vegas so I can get some, you know, money.

I forgot to say that I saw Night at the Museum the other night with Goldie. It was actually pretty entertaining. It didn't do so well in the box office, which is a shame. Looks like we caught it at the end of its life in theaters, w00t ( Read more... )
