How did I not see this before? It is absolutely perfect, and yet again I find myself amazed at just how much emotion you’re able to pack into so few words.

Lovely :)) So sad for what they've missed through being apart for 14 years but so much hope for their future. My only complaint? It wasn't long enough, but even if it had been 20,000 words long it wouldn't have been long enough for me. But that's the sign of a great writer isn't it, always leave them wanting more :)

Yes I probably could have written over 20k of this particular fic, but this challenge required it be under 2.5k which was a real challenge for me indeed! My next fic is well over 30k though so you can look forward to that :D And thank you!
