I dread opening the door and walking through all my spanish and english speaking housemates to introduce myself etc. I eventually have to drag boxes two blocks to my room. This would be great if there weren't other people everywhere.

I hate not hating waking up at 1:30 with about 9 days left until school starts. I'm still nervous about that. One on hand, I'm starting with a new life again: living in Spanish House with someone I've never met, as if that's supposed to make or break things. A tornado barely missed my block this morning. I can't really appreciate the destruction since I was unaware of it's existence (except for frighteningly loud thunder this morning). A person a block away had his roof torn off and our house is fine save for some missing slate from the roof.

I realize now that I need to dance, mainly because it makes others feel more comfortable. Whenever I don't want to do something most people would rather do it automatically becomes a special James/blind thing, and I already have too many of those ( Read more... )

I got my turntables a few days ago. Ultra DJ Jesus or Super DJ Awesome (maybe King DJ the Great) are my prefered DJ names, but I'll probably go with something much less flashy. It's really a weird feeling when you have nothing to look forward to, not even the joy which accompanies completing assignment.
