I was just reading that the death toll from the tsunami has reached 71,000. On last night's national news I saw that the U.S. government has pledged to give $35 million in relief aid. Yeah, you were right the first time, it is a coronation. You'd think with all the bullshit going on around the world they'd try to tone things down a little bit. Oh well, it just goes to show where his priorities are... the same place his head's at.

There was an earthquake in Mexico City a few years back that National Geographic covered. One amazing picture they took was of a young girl, perhaps 12 years old, minutes before she died. She was waste high in water, her eyes bloodshot. Apparently she was standing on the shoulders of her dead father. Pretty gruesome. But gives you a serious awareness of how fragile our lives really are.
