I need a better job. One that pays regularly.

My mystery shopping jobs pay slowly, typically 30 to 45 days. While I like that I have freedom in choosing when and where to work, the money trickles in slowly, and it has a detrimental effect in paying my bills.

Apparently the code name for white girls or women these days is Becky.

Ten years ago I lost a friend. I allowed myself to get close to her. We were there for each other in our crises, and I thought it earned me the right to tell her what I thought of what was going on in her life.
