I'm really sorry Russ that you feel that way about God. He never said that things were going to be easy down here. Most of the time we grow and learn through the things that are the hardest for us. Even though you may not believe it, my prayers are with you. I hope that one day you are able to see that God holds so many great things for you if you can just open up to him.

Sneeder, When the muslims pray to God and they ask for America to stop killing their husbands, and wives... fathers, sons and daughters. When they pray for strength and ask for assistance from God to eliminate our forces from their streets. Do you think they pray to the same God that we're asking to help us defeat them? I don't blame God. I blame religion. I blame people who say they're children of God and then do the most evil and cruel things. Who lie and deceive and perpetuate those falsities... and to what end? What is to be gained? Much is to be lost. So to me, it's those lost souls who follow and commit atrocities in the name of Christ that I blame for my disilusionment and disdain. To forgive... that is divine. In time I may learn to forgive, But I will never forget. There are two sides to every story. And while this story is nearly over, it has hardened my heart and bled my faith. So if that be your end... Bravo.
