It's been a while
I was having a pretty uneventful summer. I was working quite a bit and hanging out with friends whenever I could. Towards the end of July I started feeling sick, which I was attributing to work, as it was more stressful and we were about to lose a very valuable employee to another team. Rock, Paper, Scissors
I had a very funny Tuesday morning. I found out that my former summer intern (he interned 3 summers with me) won the U.S. Rock, Paper, Scissors League Championship in Las Vegas on Sunday. I know - I haven't posted, I somehow have been busy, but haven't had much to write about. I have gone to a couple of Red Sox games. Both were special in their own way. This is just sad
A co-worker gave me a 10 cent/gallon coupon for Stop and Shop gas. I was so excited, as the Stop and Shop gas station that I use is by a BJs, so they try to compete with BJ's price per gallon (this is in MA). I pulled up and the sign said it was $3.64/gallon at Stop and Shop with the card. BJs sign read $3.52/gallon. Using the coupon at S&S ( Read more... ) -
I'm back
I had a blast in Florida. My niece is completely adorable. She already has a laid back personality (except when it comes to the sun, she doesn't really like it, a problem when living in Florida!) Of f to Florida
I am off to Sarasota tomorrow morning. I am so excited to finally meet my niece. I am going straight to my brother's house after picking up my rental car. I am also happy that wedding is finally here. I can't believe that a year has passed since he proposed! It should be a fun and exciting weekend! -
Red Sox Home Opener
I had a great time at the Red Sox Home Opener on Tuesday. I still can't believe that I was there. Everything was awesome, except maybe the coldness and the ocean breeze. I could have done without those, but it was the price I was willing to pay to be there myself.

New Car!!
Well, today I bought a new car. My car was getting on in years & miles and deserved a rest. My new car is a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. It only had 34,000 miles on it and is in great condition. I test drove it on Saturday, thought about it for a while and decided yesterday that I wanted it. It is great being up on the road and actually see the pot ( Read more... ) -
Taxes
I always hate doing my taxes. It isn't like I end up owing much, but it is just a pain in the butt filing in two different states. It really stinks. In the past I have waited until April to actually file. I just put it off. I decided to do them early this year, just so I would know what I owed Massachusetts.
