A reasonable day today. Yesterday I felt so productive, my task now is to look at my school work and write a list of what has to be done by Monday and plan it out. I'm thinking of going into school tomorrow and tidying up my desk to make the start of the next term easier ( Read more... )

Today I have done the shopping, been ringing, done a bit of house stuff and put some new plants out in the garden. I am now going to sit and read for the dissertation (not going too well) and then take the books back to the library and pay a huge fine! Oh well.

So far this week I've written 1639 words. I should be at 2500 by the end of today. hmmm....

Been to the gym for about one and a half hours this morning. I really hope it helps!

It's been a while since I wrote here. I'm just going to use it as a diary for the hols to try and make sure that I get things done. a week and a half into the school holidays, and although I haven't been lazy I have little to show for it. Instead I've been doing endless amounts of washing. I've cleaned the kitchen every day. I've been ill this week. Absolute exhaustion and painful joints but the doctor told me to go back if I had it in 3 weeks! I played flute for the methodists yesterday and provided the sound equipment. Got it recorded onto minidisc and am putting it onto my mac. All good fun but not very well mixed. Oh well needs practise ( Read more... )

Well the first day back was great..... not! In fact I wish I'd spent more of it in the classroom. I spent a couple of hours with some pupils going through some questions, which I don't begrudge them but I need time to do some other stuff I'd planned. We've now got more smartboards, yey! Well, I didn't do everything on my to do list yesterday, but I did spend 8 hours up a ladder painting. This has left me feeling very achey! I'm pleased with the results, but feel a bit of a cheat having used OHPs! The room feels so different.
