this morning was spent at the farmers market with Carol & Julie Bell and then a book reading/signing at bookpeople for one of MJ's friends, Karen Fisher, who wrote A Sudden Country. It's set in the Yankee takeover of the Oregon Territories from Britain in the 1840's. Seems like it might be a good yarn. Very dense and poetic, though. I liked the ( Read more... )
