Couple of women from my work organized a book club. On one hand, reading as an activity should be always encouraged in my opinion. On the other hand, reading is not something that should be paraded around like a Thanksgiving’s Day float. But what do I know

suggest to discuss cliffnotes for 100 years :)

on the other hand, I know a few people who are well-read, and whose opinion on books I value, who did not like 100 years exacly for reasons of plot too complicated/too many personages/etc. So, it's not just the oprah-reading-idiots opinion .

You are right. It is, however, one of my favorite books. And we all know that those who do not think like I do are wrong by default:) Kiddin.
