Summary: Ohno looses his voice after a traumatic experience. He is desperate and alone, rejected by the others because of his silence. One day, he meets Jun, a young diver addicted to the sea. With Jun's help, Ohno discovers another world where the silence is the most precious thing. Together, they learn another language: the language of the sea.
Final chapter:
Jun looked at Ohno with hurt and sad eyes. The sleepy man didn't recognize him though he remembered his name.
"Who are you? Do we know each other?" Ohno repeated with curious eyes.
Tears filled Jun's eyes and the diver left the room without a word.
"Jun!!!" Aiba screamed, catching his arm in the corridor.
"What?" Jun didn't turn his head, staring at the gap.
"Don't worry, I'm sure it's only because he is shocked."
"Then, why did he recognize you, Sho and Nino?" Jun asked with a broken voice.
Aiba lowered his arm, without knowing what he could say.
"Jun-kun!" Yamapi appeared behind them.
"Hun?"
"Don't worry, Ohno's mind is just weak, your boyfriend had pretty bad injuries and stayed two years in coma, he is only lost for the moment. He doesn't remember what happened and he talks." Yamapi explained.
"And he forgot the one he loves." Jun replied in a cold tone and ran away, tears blurring his vision.
Jun sat on the sand, looking at the horizon with empty eyes. He couldn't cry, he had cried too much and now, tears didn't want to leave his swollen eyes. Ohno woke up after two years and didn't recognize him. Why was everything against them? Why does Kami-sama always try to separate the two lovers? Did it mean they weren't made for each other? Did it mean it was time for Jun to let Ohno move on by himself? What could he do?
Sighing, Jun wrapped his arms around his legs, putting his chin on his knees. The diver looked at the sky and a tear rolled down his cheek when he saw the beautiful stars in the dark sky.
The diver remembered the day when Ohno and him were looking at the stars. Jun could see the same stars as this day. The little one was shining brightly while its sister was almost off, as if she felt Jun's sadness.
"My star looks as sad as myself." Jun whispered.
"J?"
"Hun?" Jun didn't turn his head, knowing this voice by heart.
"It's late." Nino sat and hugged him from behind.
"I don't care, Kazu." Jun shrugged.
"But I do. I don't want you to make a mistake, come back home with me." Nino whispered against his neck.
"I don't have a home anymore."
"J..."
"Kazu, please, leave me alone." Jun snapped, standing up, ready to leave but the singer grabbed his arm before he could make a movement and slapped his face. Jun put his hand on his cheek, shocked.
"So is that it? What is your plan? You'll throw yourself in the sea or on the road because of that?!" Nino yelled.
"How could you understand what I feel?!" Jun shouted, very angry.
"Because I know what you feel when you love someone who doesn't see you!! I love you, Jun, I love you so much that it's painful! I’ve loved you for ten years and you never saw me, you used me as Yusuke's substitute! It's so painful when I see you with Ohno, knowing I'll never be at his place but wishing to!" Nino yelled, tears rolling down his cheeks.
"Kazu..."
"No, enough of your 'Kazu'! I can't love someone as coward as you are, you give up at the first difficulty without trying to fight, how can you pretend you love Ohchan more than anything?! Your love for him is as big as Sho's talents to cook! You're such a shame, Jun, I can't believe I fell in love with such a coward!!!"

"Shut up, Matsumoto. Now, you listen to me! I'm fed up with your behavior since Ohchan's accident! I can understand it was hard for you during these past two years but Ohchan woke up for fuck’s sake! Kami-sama gave him a new chance and you, what are you doing? Crying like a baby because he doesn't remember you. You should be next to him, now, not on your fucking beach. Ohchan is lost, he needs you more than ever, he needs his boyfriend, his man, not a crybaby who is sulking in his corner because he hasn't his lollipop. Jun looked at him with wide eyes. He had never seen his friend like that. He had never seen Nino showing his feelings like that!
"Thank you, Kazu." Jun smiled.
"I'm only doing that for myself, I have my pride, I can't love such a crybaby!" Nino snapped, blushing at how Jun was looking at him.
"You're an amazing friend." Jun chuckled, taking his hand.
"I know. I don't know what you would do without me." Nino smirked.
"Thank you, Kazu." Jun stroked his cheek with his palm and without letting Nino the time to react, caught the older's lips. At the beginning, Nino tried to push him away but when Jun slipped his tongue inside of his mouth, Kazunari moaned and gripped his tee shirt, kissing back the younger with despair. They stayed like that during lots of minutes, sharing their tastes with passion, Jun biting and sucking Nino's lips. One of Jun's hand was in Kazu's hair, the second around the older's waist, pressing their bodies together. When the kiss broke, Jun pecked the swollen lips with a smile.
"Thank you, Kazu." Jun hugged him tightly and Nino buried his face in his neck.
"I told you I would do anything for you, J. I love you."
"I know. I'm sorry for not being able to give you back the same feelings."
"Don't be. I'll fall in love with someone more beautiful and smarter than you." Nino smirked, making Jun chuckle. His friend found his sharp tongue again, it was a good sign. "Go to Ohchan, he doesn't remember you but he needs you more than ever." Nino smiled and his friend nodded and left the beach. "I love you so much, J." Nino whispered to himself, a tear rolling down his cheek.
Jun almost rushed in Ohno's bedroom who was sleeping peacefully, his chubby face as cute as before.
"I'm not going to leave you again, Satoshi. I'll make you remember us." Jun kissed his hand and laid his head on the bed, falling asleep.

"Satoshi, baby, come with me, don't be afraid."
Ohno looked at the man in front of him. He was tall, thin but Ohno couldn't see his face. His face was blurred.
"Ju-n." Ohno smiled and took his boyfriend's hand.
"I'm so happy to hear your voice, come on, the fishes are waiting for us." Jun pecked his lips and after a while they dived in the fresh water, Ohno shivering in happiness when he jumped in his element.

"Ju-n." Ohno moaned with difficulty.
"You're so perfect my love." Jun gasped, thrusting harder inside of his lover.
Ohno put his hand on the younger's cheek with a sad smile.
"Why can't I see your face, Jun?" Ohno whispered.
"Because your mind isn't ready. Do your best to remember me, baby, I've been waiting for you for two years." Jun kissed him tenderly and the older almost screamed when they came in a perfect sync.
Ohno blinked. What was that? A dream? A dream of his past? The silent man lowered his eyes and saw the same man than yesterday. He was sleeping peacefully, his left cheek on the older's lap, some hair falling on his face, giving him an innocent face like a child.
Ohno smiled tenderly. He didn't know this man but he looked kind. Satoshi stroked his cheek softly to wake him up.
"Satoshi~" The man mumbled in his sleep. Ohno looked at him with surprised eyes. Why this stranger was calling him by his first name and plus, in his sleep.
"I love you so much, Toshi." Ohno blinked and pushed the man away, afraid.
Jun almost fell on the ground and opened his eyes quickly, surprised.
"Satoshi?"
"Why are you here? I don't know who you are." Ohno asked.
"I... Ano..."
"I'm waiting for my boyfriend and if he sees you, I'm sure he'll hit you, he is very jealous." Ohno whispered, afraid.
"I... I."
"Who are you and what's your name?"
"Ano..." Jun looked at his scared lover. What could he do? How could he win Ohno's trust again? He couldn't say he was his boyfriend because Ohno would reject him.
"I'm Jun... Ohno."
"Eh?" Ohno raised his eyes in disbelief.
"I'm... I'm your young brother." Jun blushed with his lie, he didn't know if he was right but he felt he had to try.
"My brother?" Ohno whispered, shocked.
"Yes. You don't remember me. We were very close before your accident." It wasn't a real lie, after all, they were close before.
"Why did I forget you?" Ohno asked.
"I don't know, but I'm here for you, I'll help you for anything you need." Jun smiled painfully.
"Thank you, I'm lucky to have a brother like you. I'm sorry for forgetting you, help me remember, please."
"Don't worry, Nii-chan." Jun took Ohno's hand and kissed his palm. Ohno shivered, a bit surprised.
"It's weird because I feel your touches are familiar to me."
"I always kissed you like that." Jun kissed Ohno's cheek tenderly making the older shiver again.
When Aiba, Sho and Nino entered in the bedroom, they blinked, seeing Jun's head lying on Ohno's lap who was stroking his hair with a shy smile.
Nino smiled, nodding when his eyes met Jun's.
"Ohchan, you remember?!" Aiba exclaimed happily.
"Yes, Jun explained to me. I'm a very horrible person for forgetting my own little brother."
"Eh?! Bro...brother?!" The three friends exclaimed, making Ohno frown but one look of Jun made them stop.
"Ano, of course, yes...brother, Jun is your brother." Aiba stammered, still shocked.
"Jun, can we have a word?" Nino asked and both left the bedroom.
"Are you crazy?! Did you lose your mind?! Brother?!" Nino yelled.
"You told me Satoshi needed me. It's the only way I found to be next to him."
"But why his brother?"
"Because I couldn't tell him I am his boyfriend, he would reject me if he knew. I couldn't say I was his friend because, can I be next to him without any suspicion?"
"I see. But what will you do, if he thinks you are his brother, you can't kiss him."
"I know and that's why my plan is perfect. Satoshi remembers my touches. If I'm close to him, acting like a brother, maybe he'll remember us."
"You're taking a big risk, J." Nino nodded.
"I know but I have no other choice."
"We'll be there for you, to help you." Nino smiled.

"Ohayou, Satoshi."
"Ohayou Jun." Matsu kissed Ohno's forehead.
"It's today!" Jun smiled.
"Yes, I'm nervous."
"Don't be, your bedroom is waiting for your return."
"Thanks."
Jun saw Yamapi waving his hand and walked toward him.
"Everything is ready. You can leave now." Yamapi smiled.
"Thank you for everything you did, Yamapi." Jun bowed.
"Good luck for you. It's a good thing Ohno doesn't remember his past."
"Yes. I'm happy Yamada and Matsuda are two strangers for him, now." Jun sighed and grinned when he saw Ohno walking toward them. Jun wrapped his waist and kissed his temple.
"Shall we go?" Ohno nodded and both left the hospital.

"Tadaima!" Jun exclaimed.
"Ah, Jun, Ohchan, okaeri." Aiba exclaimed.
Ohno looked around him and when his eyes fell on the aquarium, approached it.
"Yume missed you a lot." Jun smiled and Ohno looked at him with curious eyes. "You were always taking care of him. He loves your strokes."
Ohno put his hand in the water and froze. This feeling... When he touched Yume, a flash appeared in his mind. He saw himself running in the water, his mysterious boyfriend chasing him. Ohno shivered, it was as if his skin was remembering something.
"Something's wrong, Toshi?" Jun asked with a worried look.
"No, I was thinking about Jun, why do I remember a boyfriend who doesn't exist and has the same name as you?"
"Maybe because of the shock of the accident, your mind needs time."
"But why can I hear him, I remember some moments together but I can't see his face." Ohno asked sadly.
"Soon, you'll understand." Jun hugged him, stroking his hair lovingly.
"Hun." Ohno nodded.

"Nooo, Jun!!!" Ohno screamed.
"Satoshi, calm down!" Jun shook Ohno who blinked, sweat rolling down his face.
"Jun?"
"Yes, it's me. You had a nightmare, it's over now." Jun rocked the crying man in his arms.
"It w-as hor-rib-le." Ohno stammered.
"Tell me."
"I... There was a man, he was laughing and he..."
"He what?" Jun asked, afraid of what would follow.
"He raped me, it was horrible." Ohno started to cry loudly.
"It was only a dream." Jun patted his head.
"But you were there too. You were trying to save me." Ohno cried.
"Tsss, it's over, now. Do you want me to sleep with you?" Ohno nodded and the younger laid down on the bed. Ohno hugged him, burying his face in his neck. Satoshi felt as if it he was used to sleep against the younger. He felt safe and loved in Jun's embrace.
Ohno frowned in his sleep, smelling a wonderful scent. When he opened his eyes, he saw his brother looking at him with loving eyes.
"Jun?" Ohno moaned, stretching his body.
"You can sleep, I'm here." Jun stroked his cheek and Ohno buried his face against the warm chest with happiness. The older didn't know why he felt so good, so safe in Jun's arms.
"I love you so much, Satoshi." Jun whispered, tightening his grip around the sleeping man.
When Ohno opened his eyes, ten minutes later, the wonderful scent was still there and he saw a tray with some food next to him.
"You're awake? I made you your breakfast." Jun kissed his head and the older stood up, licking his lips in front of the delicious food.
"Thank you, Junny." Ohno smiled making the younger froze by the nick name.
"I have to leave in ten minutes, Ma-chan will come to stay with you."
"I'm not a baby, I don't need a babysitter." Ohno pouted cutely and Jun almost jumped on him to catch his favorite lips.
"Maybe but you're still weak and I don't want you to be alone, I would be worried sick." Jun chuckled and kissed Ohno's forehead before leaving the bedroom.
When Jun left, Ohno decided to look around the apartment, trying to find his memories. The sleepy man frowned when he saw the pictures on the walls. Jun and him were diving before his accident?

Jun entered his apartment and smiled when he saw Ohno sleeping on the sofa in a small ball. His boyfriend always did that. Even in their bed, Satoshi loved to sleep like a little kitten making him so cute.
"Jun, can we have a word?" Aiba asked, making Jun jump.
The younger followed his friend in the kitchen and Aiba stared at him with a worried look.
"You know, Ohchan asked me some questions..."
"And?"
"I hate lying to him. He asked me why there were these pictures of you and him in the sea, why you seemed so close together."
"I see."
"Jun, you should tell him the truth."
"I can't."
"I'm worried for you, Jun. Did you think about what would happen if Ohchan remembered Yamada or Matsuda? How would he react?"
"I know but..."
"Why don't you return to your real job?"
"Diving is over for me." Jun frowned, a bit angry.
"But Ohchan is safe now." Aiba protested.
"Stop that, Masaki! I can't dive without him, it's too painful."
"You're just afraid." Aiba mumbled.
"What did you say?!" Jun shouted.
"You're afraid because of Ohchan's accident. It makes you remember Matsuda and the fact you almost lost him." Aiba said in a calm tone.
"You know nothing!" Jun yelled, hitting the wall next to Aiba's head who looked at him with serious eyes, not scared at all.
"When will you move on, Jun? It was two years ago, you can't stay like that anymore."
"I'm perfectly fine!"
"No, you're not! You didn't dive for two years, you work in a fucking supermarket, you are overprotective with Ohno and you are lying to him!"
"You don't understand, I don't want to lose him, he is my reason to live." Jun's voice broke.
Ohno's eyes widened when he heard his brother and his friend. What this story was about? Why does Masaki was saying Jun was lying to him? Why Jun seemed so sad when he was talking about him? Why Jun stopped diving? Jun was hiding him something and Ohno swore he'd discover what it was.
"I can't dive anymore, Masaki and I preferred dying than losing Satoshi!"
Ohno laid on the sofa when he heard steps toward the living room.
The afternoon, Jun put a movie and sat on the sofa.
"Come on." The younger opened his arms and Ohno laid against him on his lap.
Another flash appeared, a flash of himself and his mysterious boyfriend watching a movie or rather eating the mouth of each other. He saw this boyfriend laying him on the sofa, kissing his skin, his chest lovingly. Ohno saw this man making love to him slowly, both moaning and screaming in pleasure. "Ma-Matsuda." Ohno stammered, fear invading his whole body.

"Noooo!!!" Ohno cried, opening his eyes. The sleepy man stood up and rushed in the bathroom to throw up.
Ohno looked at his face in the mirror, fear still shining in his eyes and disgust invading his body. Why did he have the same dream every night for a week? Why did he see this man raping him?
Ohno took off his tee shirt and looked at the big scar on his chest. Since he woke up, he wondered why he had this scar. He wanted to ask Jun but didn't dare. He was afraid. "Satoshi, something's wrong?" Jun asked sleepily behind him.

"Did you have a nightmare again?"
"No, don't worry, I'm fine." Ohno kissed the younger's cheek and joined his own bedroom.
Jun frowned. He knew his boyfriend, he knew Satoshi was lying. The older was hiding something from him, Jun could see the fear and the tears in his deep chocolate eyes. Why does his lover was hiding something?

"Jun?"
"Yes?"
"Could we go to the sea, today?" Ohno asked making Jun almost break his glass.
"We could go to the town to make shopping." Jun tried, avoiding his lover's eyes.
"No, I want to go to the sea." Ohno pouted childishly, crossing his arms against his chest.
"Alright." Jun sighed.
"Are you scared?"
"No. No. It's just been a while I haven't swum."
"Since my accident?" Ohno asked, making Jun blush.
"Hum... Yes."
"Why?"
"I prefer to swim with you, that's all."
"But we'll be together today, we can swim together." Ohno said.
"I..."
"Are you sure you’re not hiding something else from me?" Ohno looked at Jun with his curious puppy eyes but the younger closed his to keep his sanity and not to admit he was lying.
"No, of course, no." Jun blushed deeply and turned toward the fridge.
Ohno frowned. He had his answer. Jun was hiding something, he was sure of that. The younger packed their stuff and they took Jun's car to go to the beach where Aiba, Sho and Nino were waiting for them.
When Ohno saw the sea, a weird feeling invaded his body. The place seemed very familiar to him and the sleepy man kneeled at the edge of the ocean to touch the water. Some fishes came to bite his fingers slightly and sweat started to roll down Ohno's face. His heart was beating faster as some memories were coming back in his mind.
"Satoshi?" Jun made Ohno jump, shutting his thoughts.
"Yes, I'm coming." Ohno smiled with difficulty and stood up to join his friends.
They sat on the sand, eating and teasing each other but Ohno couldn't laugh. The weird feeling was still there and he started to feel sick.
"Satoshi, you look strange." Jun said in a worried voice.
"I'm fine, just tired." Ohno laid down on the sand, closing his eyes to push this feeling away.
When Ohno opened his eyes, he wasn't on the beach but in his bed, Yamapi's worried face on top of him.
"Ah, you're awake, puppy. You made us scared." Yamapi smiled, drying the older's forehead with a towel.
"What happened?" Ohno asked in a weak voice.
"You fainted. I think you had a sunstroke but I have the feeling there is something else." The doctor looked at Ohno straight in his eyes.
"I... I..."
"You can tell me, puppy. I'm your doctor, I won't repeat what you tell me, you have my word."
"It started when I left the hospital. I have a weird feeling. When I came back here, there was something growing in my chest. Everything is familiar, I can feel lots of things happened here but I don't know what."
"And?"
"I can't sleep. Every night I'm making horrible nightmares."
"Nigthmares?" Yamapi froze.
"Yes. Always the same dream. There is this man, he is ugly, he has a big scar on his cheek. He is laughing evilly and..."
"Yes?"

"No, puppy, you're not insane. Your mind is just trying to tell you something."
"My mind?"
"Yes. You forgot lots of things because of your accident, your brain tried to protect you, erasing some painful things and now, everything starts to come back."
"How can I remember?"
"I'm a doctor, not a psychologist, I can't pretend to be the one who can help you to remember, it's not my job, mind is something too fragile to play with. I don't know how to make you remember and if it's a really good thing but I can give you the number of a psychoanalysis, he'll help you, it's his job."
"Thank you, Yamapi." Ohno smiled when the doctor patted his head kindly.
"He is awake?" A voice asked behind them.
"Yes, just a little sunstroke." Yamapi said to Jun who sat on the bed.
"I was worried sick." Jun whispered, hugging Ohno.
"Sorry."
Jun almost treated his boyfriend like a baby this day. He prepared Ohno's food, helped him to bath and stayed with him anytime. He even slept with the older who pouted, saying he wasn't a fragile baby.
Jun had his work and Ohno stayed alone, waiting for Aiba or Nino to come. He didn't know why but he felt very jealous when Nino was close to Jun. Jun looked at Ohno with hurt and sad eyes. The sleepy man didn't recognize him though he remembered his name.
"Who are you? Do we know each other?" Ohno repeated with curious eyes.
Tears filled Jun's eyes and the diver left the room without a word.
"Jun!!!" Aiba screamed, catching his arm in the corridor.
"What?" Jun didn't turn his head, staring at the gap.
"Don't worry, I'm sure it's only because he is shocked."
"Then, why did he recognize you, Sho and Nino?" Jun asked with a broken voice.
Aiba lowered his arm, without knowing what he could say.
"Jun-kun!" Yamapi appeared behind them.
"Hun?"
"Don't worry, Ohno's mind is just weak, your boyfriend had pretty bad injuries and stayed two years in coma, he is only lost for the moment. He doesn't remember what happened and he talks." Yamapi explained.
"And he forgot the one he loves." Jun replied in a cold tone and ran away, tears blurring his vision.
Jun sat on the sand, looking at the horizon with empty eyes. He couldn't cry, he had cried too much and now, tears didn't want to leave his swollen eyes. Ohno woke up after two years and didn't recognize him. Why was everything against them? Why does Kami-sama always try to separate the two lovers? Did it mean they weren't made for each other? Did it mean it was time for Jun to let Ohno move on by himself? What could he do?
Sighing, Jun wrapped his arms around his legs, putting his chin on his knees. The diver looked at the sky and a tear rolled down his cheek when he saw the beautiful stars in the dark sky.
The diver remembered the day when Ohno and him were looking at the stars. Jun could see the same stars as this day. The little one was shining brightly while its sister was almost off, as if she felt Jun's sadness.
"My star looks as sad as myself." Jun whispered.

"I have to leave in ten minutes, Ma-chan will come to stay with you."

When Jun left, Ohno decided to look around the apartment, trying to find his memories. The sleepy man frowned when he saw the pictures on the walls. Jun and him were diving before his accident?

When Ohno saw the sea, a weird feeling invaded his body. The place seemed very familiar to him and the sleepy man kneeled at the edge of the ocean to touch the water. Some fishes came to bite his fingers slightly and sweat started to roll down Ohno's face. His heart was beating faster as some memories were coming back in his mind.
"Satoshi?" Jun made Ohno jump, shutting his thoughts.
"Yes, I'm coming." Ohno smiled with difficulty and stood up to join his friends.
They sat on the sand, eating and teasing each other but Ohno couldn't laugh. The weird feeling was still there and he started to feel sick.
"Satoshi, you look strange." Jun said in a worried voice.
"I'm fine, just tired." Ohno laid down on the sand, closing his eyes to push this feeling away.
When Ohno opened his eyes, he wasn't on the beach but in his bed, Yamapi's worried face on top of him.
"Ah, you're awake, puppy. You made us scared." Yamapi smiled, drying the older's forehead with a towel.
"What happened?" Ohno asked in a weak voice.
"You fainted. I think you had a sunstroke but I have the feeling there is something else." The doctor looked at Ohno straight in his eyes.

"You can tell me, puppy. I'm your doctor, I won't repeat what you tell me, you have my word."
"It started when I left the hospital. I have a weird feeling. When I came back here, there was something growing in my chest. Everything is familiar, I can feel lots of things happened here but I don't know what."

"I can't sleep. Every night I'm making horrible nightmares."
"Nigthmares?" Yamapi froze.
"Yes. Always the same dream. There is this man, he is ugly, he has a big scar on his cheek. He is laughing evilly and..."
