My thoughts exactly... suck it, James Cameron, and Julianne Moore <3 :)

Best foreign film was definitely a surprise.

I've never actually heard of the film that won the best foreign catagory - but I did love the moment in his speech where he said he's glad the Academy don't consider Na'vi a foreign language.

I was hoping for Inglourious Basterds to at LEAST get Best Original Screenplay. Congrats to Christoph, Mo'Nique and Kathryn but I was kind of disappointed with everything else...

I really wanted IB to get best screenplay. I haven't seen the Hurt Locker yet, was the screenplay really that great?

NO!

Tarantino is incredible with dialogue. He wrote a fantasy about how the Second World War should have gone down. He created one of the most unique villains in film. Apparently, that wasn't enough to beat The Hurt Locker (for the record, I can't remember a single line of dialogue from The Hurt Locker).

I agree. I looooved The Hurt Locker, but its screenplay was no where near as good as Inglourious Basterds was.

I really wanted Inglorious Basterds to win something too, but alas it only one best supporting actor, which was really deserved btw.

REALLY need to see The Hurt Locker now.

Ben Stiller as a Na'Vi. Holy shit. LOL I'm scared right now.

THAT WAS A WEIRD MOMENT. He always dressed up like something at the Oscars. Last year, he was Joaquin Phoenix.

YAY FOR KATHRYN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for her and I love that Barbara Streisand presented it to her. That would've been awkward as hell if she lost though.

LOL I TOTALLY FORGOT THAT.

I was happy about Barbara also.

I'M STILL SO FUCKING HAPPY FOR KATHRYN RIGHT NOW. It'll take me like a month to get over this. LOL

Bigelow was the highlight of the night... does she have any projects in the works?

She's currently working on a pilot episode for one of HBO's shows. I don't think she has started working on any new movies yet.

I can understand why you would be happy at least. XD I'll still continue to be upset along with all of the other countries that thought their movie got robbed. lol
