And damn, was it an event. Cam and I went up with him on Friday to load all of his stuff in the moving truck. We started around 11:00AM, finished for the first night around 10:30, and then woke up around 10:00 on Saturday, finally finishing and getting on the road at 3:45. But, it's all done. Convenient downstairs printing would be nice on the rare occasion that we need it for gaming. Sonia often retires to that room to play the PS2 when she gets bored of our roleplaying, so I imagine she might prefer keeping some video game access on hand.

With a little electrical and plumbing work, you could move your kegerator in there and add in a micro-brewing operation. Boom, small-batch beer room. Bottle some of your own stuff up, keep your regular favorites on hand, decorate with novelty glasses, perhaps a recliner with a small table and bowl of salty snack foods....

I wish...fridges don't do well on carpeted surfaces..well carpet as deep as we have anyway I'm be also deathly afraid of what the carpet would grow under an occasionally dripping/spilling beer tap. I really wish we had a bit more room for a room such as that. One day I'll have a basement with all this crap..in the house I'll build...with all the money I don't have. I think we need to find some way to get more use out of that room. A computer in there would be handy sometimes, the old games systems would be good if we could repair our old PS2 that doesn't work so well. We still have a lot to do to our house but we're slowly improving. The bar was a big step.

I think it should be a combo store room and computer room. perhaps move the shelving and add additional shelving along the wall and keep dry goods, cases of beer, seldom used pots/pans, etc. closest to the door and then the office area set up in the far corner of the room (where I'm guessing your cable is already coming out of your wall).
