I haven't posted to LJ in MONTHS. For years, I barely went two days without posting here, but as I started to go through quite a terrible patch in my life, I lost all the friends I used to have here, and then LJ itself began to dwindle down to a shadow of itself. I cannot believe what I'm seeing on the news in New Orleans, right now. It's worse than anything I can possibly imagine - unless I was actually seeing places like the Riverwalk, Convention Center, etc. where I have walked and done sightseeing, I wouldn't be able to believe this was happening in the US ( Read more... ) -
