well, after lots of pondering this weekend i've decided it's time to look for a new job. i realized today that for the past year i have been upset probably 80-90% of the time. most of it is from my boss's negativity. we even talked about it during about it last october. it got better for a bit, but know it's worse than ever. during my evaluation ( Read more... )

Could you be a teacher's aid? Definitely look for day care jobs - I remember looking for one once for a friend and finding a TON of them. Lots of jobs are posted online. Check out the county school websites. And I think there's something called TriangleHelpWanted.com (or similar). And the N&O has a section in their website for jobs.

I've been a teacher assistant before - and I loved it. Problem is the money sucks. Would have to still work a second job. Would be hard to try and do school. Granted if you go to school to get a teachers degree while an assistant, the state pays for it. A nanny job were I could have a few hours in the am (when the kid is in preschool or something) would be nice so I could take classes still. Thanks for ideas, and let me know if you come up with anything else!
